Invitation for Indigenous Peoples and Communities

Engage in knowledge sharing and feedback that makes a difference in the lives of Indigenous peoples

We are the College of Opticians of British Columbia and we license opticians to practice in what is now commonly called British Columbia. We are a non-profit organization responsible for protecting the public from unsafe and unethical opticianry services. We review and resolve complaints about opticians. We are making big changes to our complaints process so that it is more accessible, culturally relevant, and safe for Indigenous peoples. We want to hear from you about these changes.

Voices of Indigenous peoples are valued and essential

We invite you to connect with us for culturally safe and relevant knowledge sharing that is valued and respected, and influences real change that makes a difference.

We will share information about our Indigenous Anti-Racism changes with you in writing and/or verbally. Share your knowledge, experiences, opinions, and stories with us in writing and/or verbally at your convenience.

Safe and meaningful knowledge sharing that makes a difference
